Replacing problematic, outdated wallpaper behind the bed to a cool scenic wallpaper that sets the mood for the young couple’s cozy space. Adding lighting, fan, headboard, accessories and end tables.
An adjacent wall is empty, but proves a good spot for a low, wide lounger for mom and her little to nestle in a read together.
SUN PORCH TRANSFORMATION - NEW OFFICE
A sun porch in an English Tudor will get new large windows in the arched shape on north, east and south sides. The floor will be raised to be level with LR and light herringbone hardwoods installed. A dividing wall will go up to create two sun-filled rooms. First is the office to take one third of the total space, and the second two thirds will be a relaxing family room, as below. The five arched windows which are now screened-in will be fitted with large plate glass, and the drywall will replace stucco walls, for a finished look.
